WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Premier Capital Hellas SA, the operator of 35 McDonald’s restaurants in Greece, is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to its New Distribution Center to join the nationwide team that proudly delivers the McDonald’s experience to thousands of guests all day, every day.

THE ROLE
Based in Aspropyrgos, Athens, the candidate will report to the Distribution Center Manager and will be responsible for warehouse operations, for inventory control, supervision and safety of warehouse employees and warehousing areas, as well as equipment maintenance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Control, Reporting, Analyzing Information
Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items, securing warehouse
Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods in accordance to company policies and standards
Ensure accuracy of shipments’ and inventory transactions’ responding to and dealing with local/foreign deliveries/transporters communication by email and telephone for unloading and loading bookings
Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
Preparation of pick lists and documents for KPI’s
Developing Standards & Managing Processes
Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse management and adhere to high quality audit requirmements
Maintain stong Food Safety culture.
Staff Development & Supervision
Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems
Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded,including yearly vacation leave planner.
Lead training initiatives to improve employees performance
Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
Safety Management & Equipment Maintenance
Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality and budgetary targets are met, including punch clock and overtime
Overseeing the planned maintenance of the warehouse, vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Communication
Builds strong relationships and fosters teamwork among the Supply Chain team, suppliers, carriers and restaurant staff to achieve maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
University/Technical University degree in Finance, Economics, Logistics will be considered as an asset
3 - 4 years of experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar role
Good knowledge of Greek and English
Very good knowledge of WMS system (preferably Mantis)
Computer knowledge, MS Office
Organizational spirit, consistency, reliability and integrity
Excellent communication skills
Team spirit and collaboration
Dynamic personality with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively underpressure
Diploma - forklift operator license (Clark) considered as a plus but is optional
