We are looking for a SEO Junior Specialist to join our Digital Acquisition & MarTech team. The role is responsible for optimizing our website and content to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic to our online and offline channels. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about SEO and eager to develop their skills in a real-world retail environment. While no prior professional experience is required, any demonstrable experience (e.g., personal projects, blogs, volunteer work) will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to find relevant search terms and optimize content.
- Implement on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, and headers.
- Create and optimize engaging content for the website and blog.
- Perform technical SEO audits to fix site issues.
- Use SEO tools to track and report key metrics.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.
- Work with marketing teams to ensure a cohesive strategy.
- Help develop and execute SEO strategies to boost rankings and traffic.
- Optimize local SEO listings for physical store locations.
- Analyze competitor SEO tactics to find improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- Passion for SEO and digital marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Basic understanding of website structure and HTML. (Beneficial but not essential)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console (Beneficial but not essential).
- Any demonstrable SEO experience (e.g., personal projects, blogs, volunteer work) is highly desirable.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
