ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, is seeking a System & Network Administrator.
Our client is a leading organization in the field of public infrastructure, operating large-scale IT systems with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
📌 Location: Eastern Thessaloniki, Greece
📍 Working Model: Onsite
🖋️You will be reporting to: CTO
What you will do:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, support, and development of ICT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networking devices, backups, and user support across a wide environment that connects offices, remote services, and operational field sites.
More specifically, you will:
• Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of systems including Windows Servers, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services
• Manage and monitor workstations and related networking devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
• Implement and maintain security policies, system patching, backups, and antivirus solutions
• Handle system configuration, upgrades, and data leak repair
• Support users on a 2nd level (Helpdesk) across offices and remote sites
• Perform IT audits and keep detailed logs of activities
• Conduct tests for new system installations and deliver documentation
• Stay informed on tech trends and perform market research for future upgrades
Requirements
• A University Degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar System & Network Administration role.
• Experience with Windows Server environments (Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, backup/recovery procedures, and firewalls
• Familiarity with IP/MPLS, VPN, and general networking protocols
• Solid understanding of IT security and system hardening principles
• Good command of the English language
• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and initiative
